This divided world, now, in this hour, needs to be profound!
lyrics
This Hour by Syne Wave
Intercept it, heed the day, intersect it, to affect it
Intellect it, all the way, resurrect it
Look to the sky, crimson as the white of lies
Unveil the shadow to reveal, ooh-yeah
Look to the heart, darkness has it split along irony
There’s never truth when nothing’s real
This great divide is spreading wide across these social lines
A chasm well beyond the light, far out of sight
There’s little time here, living on the edge of fear
This hour needs to be profound, so, lay it down
Yeah, lay it down
Aaaa!… hey, hey!... ooh, yeah… hooh!
Intercept it, heed the day, intersect it, to protect it
Intellect it, all the way, resurrect it
Look in the mind, deeper than the lapse of time
Concede the omen by design, oh-yeah
Look through the fire, twilight has it held upon mystery
There’s no more love where nothing feels
This great divide is spreading wide across these social lines
A chasm well beyond the light, far out of sight
There’s little time here, living on the edge of fear
This hour needs to be profound, so, lay it down
Yeah, lay it down
Revering pain will warp the space
Days gone by arrive
Heaven’s gate is left to waste
The word most heard survives
The heart is rift along this fate
So cross the bridge no time to wait
This great divide is spreading wide across these social lines
A chasm well beyond the light, far out of sight
There’s little time here, living on the edge of fear
This hour needs to be profound, so, lay it down
Yeah, lay it down
I really like this album. Probably my favorite from Above The Snowline so far. Its dark, its sincere and inspired. It flows well from beginning to end but doesn't fall into the trap of all the tracks being too samey. It feel like a well crafted mix of Nine Inch Nails and IAMX with some Marilyn Manson spice on top. Electronic, dark and industrial music fans shouldn't miss this. Jean-Sebastien Gauthier
From arena ballads to '80s-style girl rock to hot, spicy funk, all powered by the beautiful vocal talent and songwriting skills of Tracy Cloud, this 5-track EP should not be missed!
