I watch the details fade, into the background,
And in the haze I see, the candle on the bar
Flickering like the eye, of my familiar guarding me
From the danger of life from which, I struggle to be free
I grip my glass my surviving refuge,
A shield from the pain, (mmm, mmm, mm-mmm)
Numbing my senses, searching my soul,
Searching my conscience, hiding myself
Oh, in this mortal deluge
Passing another drink, while I’m passing my time
Passing my life away, committing my social crime
Drowning my sorrows, drowning in solitude
Waiting for the end, with my familiar
I grip my glass my surviving refuge,
A shield from the pain, (mmm, mmm, mm-mmm)
Numbing my senses, searching my soul,
Searching my conscience, hiding myself
Oh, in this mortal deluge
I see the wave rising, to drown the flame
Another drink, another social suicide
Fighting my way out of this mortal playground
Watching myself slipping slowly away
See the past and the present together
The dark of the night overtaking the day
I step out through the door, into the neon twilight.
Regretting the empty hours, of another wasted night
Vowing to get control, vowing to stop at last
Another empty promise, with another empty glass

I really like this album. Probably my favorite from Above The Snowline so far. Its dark, its sincere and inspired. It flows well from beginning to end but doesn't fall into the trap of all the tracks being too samey. It feel like a well crafted mix of Nine Inch Nails and IAMX with some Marilyn Manson spice on top. Electronic, dark and industrial music fans shouldn't miss this. Jean-Sebastien Gauthier

From arena ballads to '80s-style girl rock to hot, spicy funk, all powered by the beautiful vocal talent and songwriting skills of Tracy Cloud, this 5-track EP should not be missed!
